New Orleans

Stewart and I went on a vacation before Easter to New Orleans. I had never been and Stewart had beenfor work but not spent much time exploring the city. I have no pictures of the two of us but here are a few from the trip. It was nice to have some time just to ourselves but we missed little bit. The trip was partly for my 30th birthday and partly because we didn't go anywhere for our 5th anniversery back in August.

This is what you do when you get married in the French Quarter in New Orleans---you have a parade in honor of yourself!!! I totally would have done this and loved every minute of it!

Since we missed our Church's Easter egg hunt we went to Hopkinsville for my parent’s church Easter egg hunt. We had fun and we got to hunt eggs with some of the cousins. Here is the where they were taking pictures with the Easter Bunny. Please note that in all 70 pictures that I took trying to get one of Parker smiling or at least with her hands out of her mouth, my mom whispers to me that she had just had really buttery popcorn for the first time and was licking her fingers for the butter. Nice! So in EVERY picture she has her hands in her mouth. Here she is with the bunny, Landon and Kendall.

April showers bring......

A LARGE TREE FALLING DOWN While Stewart was having fun at the Masters and I was at my parents house, I got a call that a tree had fallen at our house. This is NOT what I had expected when Dad and I arrived to check it out. Needless to say---it got our house and our neighbors. Thankfully, this tree didn't cause the amount of damage that it could have and luckily we were not here! We are in the process of dealing with the contractor for the insurance company and hope to get everything fixed soon! Our neighbors house

Sping around here has begun (and then it got cold again for like a week). Here is the back porch which still needs to be painted and the patio. We are slowly beginning to landscape. We spend alot of time out there because that is all Parker wants to do especially since getting her new "swide." It is coming along....

The new toy (looked much smaller in the back yard of the people who made it and lived on a farm than it does in our yard. Kind of takes up the whole back yard...whoops!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I was trying to get some good picture to send to family members in their Valentine's. Here are a few of the better pictures I got. It is getting hard to take pictures of her because she wants to see the pictures just as soon as she smiles for 1 second to take the picture. That results in lots of pictures of the side of her head. But she is getting so big and talking more and more everyday and her hair is getting longer. She is 16 1/2 months in these pictures. 1st pig tails
